In the '80's and '90's he managed acts including They Eat Their Own (Like a Drug), Knights of the Living Dead, World Color, Haunted Garage, Tone Poets & Mother's Finest. Currently he works exclusively with chart topping, multi-award winning country/pop singer Eileen Carey.
SONGWRITER & PRODUCER
His '80's co-writes include the Plimsouls' Million Miles Away and Now, Paul Collins' Beat All Over the World, Phil Seymour's Talk to Me, Alexis Korner's The Sphinx.
The 2000's produced the highly-acclaimed, cutting-edge act DJ Monkey, with Mick McMains & Jamal "Tip Toe" Cryer. 2 released CD's Another Evolution &Third World War with an underground limited release of Corporate Oil War. Songs include Beatnik, Love Knows No Color & U-Boat.
Aaron Paul's Smooth was released in 2018.
Alkes & Mick McMains partnered up again on the indie-charting 2018 McMains CD American Soul, songsWould If I Could and Devil Don't Care; with another CD to be released soon.
